Security

  • server: Stop reading from connections when flooded by HTTP/2 frames to mitigate resource exhaustion. The default value for this limit is 100 frames, excluding DATA and HEADERS, and may be changed by setting environment variable GRPC_GO_EXPERIMENTAL_CONTROL_BUFFER_THROTTLE_LIMIT.
  • xds/rbac: Support Metadata and RequestedServerName permissions matcher fields. If present in a DENY rule, previously these would be ignored and fail-open.
  • xds/rbac: Fix panic when parsing unsupported fields in NotRule/NotId permissions.
  • xds/rbac: Support the deprecated source_ip principal identifier by treating it as equivalent to direct_remote_ip.

fix: use typed Pub/Sub credentials API after google.golang.org/api bump

google.golang.org/api v0.264.0 deprecates option.WithCredentialsFile
(SA1019). Load FLAGR_RECORDER_PUBSUB_KEYFILE as a service-account file,
and fall back to ADC when it is unset.

Pushed a follow-up so this can pass unit_test: google.golang.org/api v0.264.0 deprecates option.WithCredentialsFile (SA1019). Pub/Sub now loads FLAGR_RECORDER_PUBSUB_KEYFILE with option.WithAuthCredentialsFile(option.ServiceAccount, …) and uses ADC when the env var is empty, matching the existing docs.

test(datar): wait for ticker flush instead of a short sleep

TestFlushLoop_TickerFires failed on CI because a 10ms sleep is not
enough for the 1ms flush ticker under package-parallel load. Poll until
the buffer drains.

Follow-up: unit_test got past the SA1019 lint, then TestFlushLoop_TickerFires failed because a 10ms sleep is too short for the 1ms flush ticker when CI runs packages in parallel. The test now waits until the buffer drains (local: 50× go test ./pkg/datar green).

CI is green. grpc 1.83.1 plus the SA1019 Pub/Sub credentials fix and the datar ticker-flush test wait. Good to merge.
